Sales Development Representative

Role: 3 days a week for 6 months with the intention to extend to a permanent position

Hours: We can be flexible to ensure the hours work with any caring responsibilities 

Fee:  £140 per day (based on annual FT salary of £37K)

Based: Remote or Stockholm *must be based in a European time zone*

UPFRONT is an organization on a mission to change confidence, visibility and power for women and historically excluded communities. We do this in three ways - courses (we call these Bonds), community (we call our membership Global Bond Community) and content (keynotes, social media and our weekly newsletters)

We’re looking to hire a high energy, enthusiastic and driven Sales Development Representative to join our team and be responsible for finding and screening potential customers who can benefit from our products and services.


What we’re looking for

  • Someone who’s excited by the opportunity to support our Founder to build a sales function rooted in community, kindness and purpose 

  • You have a qualification or solid experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field

  • You have prior experience in a similar role with a solid track record of sales in outbound calling and emailing

  • You are comfortable using marketing automation platforms and CRM (eg. Hubspot)

  • You have a proven track record in building good client relationships and meeting/exceeding sales targets

  • You possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills

  • You are results-driven, tenacious and a strong team player

  • On your own time, you are actively engaging in meaningful conversations around feminism and equality. You are socially-minded and not afraid to get political. You are dedicated to being anti-racist and believe wholeheartedly in intersectional gender equity

  • You're familiar with the tools and apps we use daily: Active Campaign, Slack, Notion and G Suite.

  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and activities running concurrently

  • You have a can-do, positive, passionate attitude and are comfortable with risk-taking

  • You have high energy and thrive working remotely with a small distributed team


How you’ll spend your time

  • Building the sales funnel by generating leads via personalized outreach to potential customers

  • Emailing communication, lead prequalification and call scheduling

  • Taking notes during sales calls and summarize them in our lead generation database, Hubspot

  • Maintaining and updating the lead generation database

  • Initiating follow-up sequences, draft responses

  • Handling incoming queries and building good client relationships

  • Ensuring all leads are well qualified by identifying the correct decision makers and understanding their requirements

  • Passing qualified leads to the Founder with the objective of closing the sale

  • Schedule appointments, and demos and introduce leads to their new point of contact

  • Achieving weekly/monthly targets as set out by the business

  • Reach out to 10 prospects each day on LinkedIn and email

  • Research + pitch 10 podcasts, newsletters, blogs each week

  • Track responses and coordinate placements

  • Update Hubspot with new lead lists weekly
